The tools for web development have evolved significantly. While HTML and CSS remain foundational, modern frameworks and tools have revolutionized how websites are built. These innovations enable more dynamic and interactive experiences, and the latest AI tools make it easier than ever for even novice programmers to create robust websites.
Tony helped identify and launch the innovative Defined Volatility ETF. In preparation for its debut, Tony was tasked with building a website to educate prospective investors and meet regulatory requirements from FINRA and the SEC.
He designed and built the entire WEBs Investments website using the React framework with MUI tooling. Tony implemented three separate environments for both the front end and backend, ensuring seamless Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of updates to end users using two separate git repository with multiple active branches in each.
Starting with wireframes, Tony creatively adapted them to better communicate the fund’s objectives. He developed product landing pages with all required information and built a backend that seamlessly fed data to the front end.
The result was a highly efficient and cost-effective platform, with the entire website and supporting infrastructure costing less than $100 per month.
After live-testing his investment strategy for over a year, Tony launched it to friends and family, requiring a secure, data-intensive website for prospective investors to explore. To ensure compliance, the site was password-protected.
Tony built the ALT Analytics Investing website, crafting all content and leveraging the AWS Cloudscape framework instead of MUI to accommodate the site’s data-heavy nature. The platform included dynamic dashboards connected to fully authenticated APIs, providing powerful insights and analysis for users.
While the interface prioritized functionality over design, it effectively delivered the in-depth data and tools prospective investors needed, demonstrating the balance between usability and robust data integration.
